Since the Oscars are coming up I figured I’d give out some awards to those most deserving. No need for a tux and we don’t have trophies. For these who really need a physical prize we do have open hand slaps.

Dubya - There are so many reasons why he could get this award…lord knows. However this time it’s for making it known that he didn’t know about the sale of the operating contract for U.S. ports to the United Arab Emirates until it was reported in the Media. You can’t say “Everything changed after 9/11″ and then tell me you’re finding out things vital to security the same way I do.

The Golden Palace people - One went streaking, another interrupted the closing ceremony of the Olympics. I can’t help but think, is the press that good? When I see a naked dude with a rubber chicken over his genitals it doesn’t encourage me to risk my money. Both of these cats need a slap. Also the security needs a slap for letting them get into position to run out and disturb things.
