Change-Up

Before

“Change is the constant, the signal for rebirth, the egg of the phoenix.” Christina Baldwin

Remember this guy, intelligent, witty, quick to slip a joke in? Well it’s not like he went anywhere, but things are looking different…for sure. I have made a change, which for people in my position means that you will endure many questions about your intentions. People want to touch and reach out and verify that it’s you. Not like they didn’t touch before. This is old to me. I’ve been here before. I do remember people not realizing it was me. Some people started speaking to me again as if I had gone crazy and now I was back. A lot of Psuedo-cultural folks switched up on me. I don’t mind cause in this instant I am what mattered. My growth. My mama always said you can’t get new things until you let go some of the old stuff. Goodbye old stuff. Crikey, I guess I’ll need to post new pics and stuff now huh?

O.K.

After

Soon to come pics of me and all my wonderful new hats…my head is cold.

Oh and when I can hook them up I’ll post a pic of my hair as it was right before I cut it…down to my belt man…that’s a lotta stuff.

  1. You took spring cleaning to a whole new level. Funny how attached people are to your appearance.

  2. Wow! What a drastic change. You look great though! It’s easier to focus on your eyes, now! Change is good, particulary if it’s a positive one. ;o)

  4. Wow. Drastic. I’m the first to say that it’s only hair. you cut it, it grows back, it grows too much, you cut it again.

  5. OH SNAP.

props on making such a drastic change. i heard those bad boys can be hell on the back and neck, especially if they grow as long as yours had.

was there an epiphany that led to you cutting them off? right now i can’t see getting rid of mine, but i haven’t had mine all that long.

oh, and it goes without saying that you’re still very attractive.

  6. change is good. there is so much energy contained in our hair both good and bad vibes. I am anguishing over cutting me ‘fro but I need to remove some of the energy on my head. you don’t look bad either way. no brokeback to that last sentence of course

  11. I only sported locks for 5 months, but when I cut them I could only equate the feeling to Samson being without his hair. Hmmm, funny how I feel much different since I liberated my scalp of all hair back in ‘94. And have since looked back! Represent my brotha…
