Update

“I’ll burn the building down.”
Milton - Office Space.
So guess what happened. Anyone? No takers? Not a damn thing. Nobody even mentioned anything about me doing a group. I had a nice letter detailing why I wouldn’t do it ready as my response. Nobody even said anything though. I still have the letter and it’s getting whipped out, I just can’t make up my mind to do it now while everyone is stepping on eggshells. Or go with the original plan and let them tell me I have to do the group then present it to them. I don’t know…but I do know I’ll be making some calls. This is ri-god-damn-diculous. I think I’m going to take the State Test and get one of those cushy office jobs. Those cat’s don’t really do anything and they get regular raises.
I hate when things go unresolved. I think it’s time to go on the offensive now, while they’re still stepping lightly. It’s great that you have the letter ready to do.
Good luck - hugs!

just say you ain’t gonna pull a milton on ‘em. they have to listen. if not, i will say put your feelers out. i did the same thing. i left a job i really loved because i really felt underappreciated and underpaid. i am glad i did. things are so much better.

only thing with the state is sometimes you go in and out with the reigning administration. That sucks.

Damn man… I kinda hate it myself when shit doesn’t get handled and dealt with. I’m a patient brother, but when things are left pending, that sets me off. Especially when you are looking for it to be settled. Now it’s time for a brotha to make like Redman “time for some ack-shun!”

Hang on…
They don’t want to lose you. Especially now that they need someone to drive the crappy van in the shi%&y weather!

I’m right behind you in the line for one of those state jobs. Don’t forget they get good benefits too.
