Calgon get me the hell out of here!

Game over man, game over!
“A misery is not to be measured from the nature of the evil, but from the temper of the sufferer.”
Joseph Addison (1672 - 1719)

On monday I had two Martinis and played Sade. I told my roommate I was preparing for a crappy two weeks. Well, the festivities have begun! You ever have so much crap flying around at your job that even though it’s the beginning of April you start filling out vacation request for May? That’s where I am and I’m about to earn that time off. I don’t think Calgon alone could help me. I expected alot of this, what I didn’t expect was a Motivational Conference that would attract 15,000 people to downtown Baltimore. The entire purpose of me leaving the house when I do was negated as I spent the 20 minutes I usually chill at Starbucks on a bus traveling the distance of 5 blocks. Damn you all to hell. I would like to motivate them to get out of downtown before 5:00pm. I don’t even drive to simple events near downtown…why the hell wouldn’t some of these folks use the P.T.? I still have three and a half weeks of madness ahead of me. The hope vs. wish theory this week. As in some people say, “I hope nothing goes wrong” and other say “I wish you would…”. I also have much venom for express busses. Something is wrong when I see 4 express buses pass me by and 15 minutes later a regular one comes along. I’m sure the people who live on the far end of the line need to get to work, but so do I. Since the express bus doesn’t stop in “my area” I couldn’t catch it even if I wanted to pay the extra fare. Damn all of those catching the express bus. Damn the straight to hell.
