So I have made a choice. I actually had the choice made, but I am just going to acknowledge it. I’m standing firm. Perhaps I should start job hunting and posting resumes and all that. The hell with it though. I’ve been here too long and done too much to get my Alan Wickers all twisted. I’m going to be here and that’s how I’m acting. I’ve worked to hard to have someone who holds a position for a year come and sweep me away. Not to mention I’ve got backing so the hell with it. I’m living by a new saying…W.W.W.D. - What Would Wolverine Do? (See Catherinette, I found where he fits in). The Killer Canuck wouldn’t work on his resume. Well, he’d probably come in smoking a cigar and give homeboy the middle…claw. I may not go that far…but I will do me and for the last 7 years this has been a part of me. I won’t abandon those who rely on me. I may have an extra beer when I go home though…sue me. I won’t attempt to wow this cat either. I figure if you can’t be impressed with what I’ve shown you so far then nothing will impress you. Here is an interesting figure though:
In a 5 year period we enrolled 366 young people. In the same period we had 343 job placements. That’s not too shabby. I know what I’ve accomplished that would never count in numbers and that’s what I will rely on.
Man…that really sucks. I’m gonna pray that either you keep your job and remain happy, or that that dipshit contracts a crab infestation, and leaves you alone….or maybe both.

Keep your head up sweetie. Fortunately,not everyone at your job is like him and you have the support of people on your job and the Board. One thing I can say about you is that you truly care about the people in that community and the work you do which is more than I can say about that guy. Besides that you have the numbers and results to back it up. He’s an idiot if he can’t see that. Anyway, I’m proud of you.
Also if dude comes at you crazy this week, just call me. I need to do something with all this pre-final exam energy.

With numbers like that, who is he to come in and rattle cages? Is he some hotshot gradschool schmuck with friends in high places, or is the hired gun? Either way, I agree with the aforementioned advice, hang tough and know when to fold ‘em.
